AOptix Technologies Commercial Lasercom division came home with two technology awards at the 2008 NAB Show in Las Vegas. TV Technology magazine’s “2008 STAR” (Superior Technology Award Recipient) and prestigious “Mario Award” recognized our technology innovation and excellence in a forward-thinking product.

Our goal was to demonstrate the capabilities of our new wireless broadcast lasercom system in a live demo – right from our booth on the show floor. Transmitting several live, simultaneous, uncompressed, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, audio, comms and serial data feeds showcased dense wave division multiplexing (DWDM) over a single 10 Gbps lasercom link.
