  • Dean Senner Chairman and CEO

    As Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AOptix, Dean is responsible for development and execution of the company’s overarching vision and strategy to grow shareholder value. In this role, Dean brings over 30 years of international business experience in the technology, consumer, and telecommunications markets. Under Dean’s leadership, AOptix is rapidly moving towards becoming a market leader in wireless Communications and Identity Solutions with leading edge products and technology.

    Prior to joining AOptix, Dean was President and CEO of Thales Navigation, Inc. (Magellan GPS Systems), an international company with operations in 13 countries, and over 17,000 retail outlets in more than 100 countries around the world. During his tenure, Dean oversaw the explosive growth of Thales Navigation to become a major market player in the GPS consumer electronics space.  In addition to providing executive leadership for the Professional Products, OEM, and Consumer Electronics divisions, Dean also served as Chairman of the Board for Navigation Solutions, LLC., a joint venture between Thales Navigation and the Hertz Corporation.  Navigation Solutions very successfully owned and operated navigation systems in the Hertz rental car fleet under the Hertz NeverLost™ brand.

    Prior to Thales Navigation, Dean served as a senior executive in the defense and aerospace industry with Lockheed Martin. During his tenure, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems company, where he was responsible for developing and operating large satellite systems serving the Direct Broadcast (TV), Fixed and Mobile Satellite (Telephony), and Broadband services markets worldwide. Dean also served as Vice President of Military Satellite Communications Programs for Lockheed Martin developing critical communications and navigation satellite systems for the U.S. Department of Defense. He also served as Deputy for NASA programs overseeing the development of major portions of the Space Station Freedom as well as development of advanced manned reentry vehicle designs. During his tenure, Dean also worked extensively with the Air Force, Navy, and Army, as well as classified customers.

  • Earl Charles Chief Financial Officer

    As Chief Financial Officer of AOptix, Earl is responsible for corporate finance, financings, mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure to support rapid growth of the company’s wireless Communications and Identity Solutions businesses. Earl joined the AOptix executive management team after many years of financial and operational management. Before AOptix, Earl was CFO of eMeter, where he led and negotiated financing to fuel the company’s sales growth while improving its systems and infrastructure. Prior to joining eMeter, he was CFO at XenSource, Inc., a server virtualization software company which was acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc. Earl was responsible for operations, finance, legal, facilities, risk management, human resources and investor relations functions. While at XenSource, Earl led and negotiated financings, negotiated the definitive agreement with Citrix and led due diligence and integration activities, and implemented ERP and business systems. Earl has held similar positions at Cupertino Electric, Inc., a leading provider of sophisticated electrical infrastructure solutions and other high technology companies, including mycfo.com, Prism Solutions and R2 Technology, Inc. Earl was a partner and 20 year veteran at Deloitte & Touche LLP, a public accounting firm and holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. 

  • Chandrasekhar Pusarla VP and General Manager, Communications

    As Vice President and General Manager, Chandra is responsible for review of the overall market for our Intellimax family of products, the development of strategic partnerships, product and monetization plans and the overall growth of AOptix’s wireless Communications business. Dr. Pusarla has over 17 years of product development experience in the networking and telecommunications industries and brings technical and management leadership skills to AOptix. Prior to joining AOptix, he worked at Calient Networks, a photonic switching optical networking start-up, rising to the position of Vice President of Engineering. During his tenure at Calient, he was responsible for delivering multiple photonic switching products to market and several software releases to major carriers and service providers. Earlier in his career, Dr. Pusarla held technical and management positions at Corning Inc. and Tyco International Ltd. Dr. Pusarla received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from University of Maryland at College Park.

  • Francois Le VP of Global Sales, Communications

    As Vice President of Global Sales – Communications, Francois is responsible for all direct sales and channels for AOptix’s wireless Communications business, including carriers, enterprise and government sales and strategic partnerships with VARs, SI’s and distributors. Francois brings over 20 years of global sales experience in the communications industry. Prior to joining AOptix, Francois was most recently V.P. Global Sales at Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (“N.E.T.”) where he was also a SEC Sec. 16(b) Named Executive Officer (NASDAQ: NWK). Francois started Commercial Sales at N.E.T. from the ground up and it became the largest and fastest growing part of N.E.T. at the time of its acquisition by Sonus. He built and led a sales team, distributed across 14 offices world-wide, set up key partnerships with Global SIs such as HP, Dell, DiData, AT&T, OBS, BT, etc., and built a community of more than 300 Channel Partners. Prior to N.E.T., Francois was Vice President of Carriers and International Sales at Tropos Networks, a leading wireless vendor delivering metro-scale Wi-Fi mesh networks (acquired by ABB). Francois has held similar sales executive roles at Aperto Networks, a WiMAX pioneer, 3Com Corporation (as part of the OnStream acquisition) and Multipoint Networks. Francois holds an MBA from Stanford University and an Engineering Diploma from INSA de Lyon, France.

  • Chuck Yort VP and General Manager, Identity Solutions

    As Vice President and General Manager, Chuck has responsibility for the development of strategic partnerships, product monetization plans and the overall growth of AOptix’s Identity Solutions business. Chuck joined AOptix from Minerva Networks, a profitable TV-over-IP solution developer for pay TV service providers, where he was the Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances. Prior to that, Chuck was the Vice President and General Manager of B2B Solutions at Plantronics, Inc. While at Plantronics, he led the growth of its flagship newly formed business unit, reaching over $500 million in revenue in three years. Chuck also served as Vice President, General Manager, Business & Government at Palm Inc. In addition, Chuck has held management positions at startups such as Venturi Wireless and Polyfuel, as well as tech leaders such as 3COM and HP. Chuck earned a BSE in Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford.

  • Christina Richards VP of Marketing

    As Vice President of Marketing, Christina is responsible for AOptix’s strategic marketing vision and execution, including new product introductions, corporate branding, digital marketing, analyst and media relations, and strategic channel marketing partnerships across the company’s Communications and Identity Solutions businesses. Christina brings over 18 years of experience in the wireless communications industry. Prior to joining AOptix, Christina was President and CEO of marketing consulting firm Richards Morgan Enterprises, serving customers in the telecommunications hardware and services industries. Previously, Richards spent four years at SkyFiber where she served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Prior to SkyFiber, Richards spent 13 years at Nortel Networks, a multinational telecommunications manufacturer where she held a variety of management and executive positions in the Wireless division, including  Product Marketing Leader for WiMAX-BSS, and Business Operations Leader for the President of Carrier Networks, where she drove execution of business strategy for a $6B division. During her time in R&D Engineering, Richards led several international teams as a leader in Nortel’s GSM/UMTS Wireless Division, and drove substantial efficiency improvements through innovative software automation methodologies. Christina earned her B.S. Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and her MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

  • Scott Clark VP Operations

    As Vice President of Operations, Scott Clark leads procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and customer support at AOptix. Scott is a seasoned operations management professional with extensive experience overseeing production of complex technologies, international operations, and data communications hardware and software development. Prior to joining AOptix, Scott was VP of Operations at Arecont Vision, the market leader in IP-based MegaPixel security cameras. At Arecont Vision Scott and his team drove significant product quality improvements and inventory and cost reductions allowing the company to achieve record breaking growth. He lived and worked in Japan for 10 years, has run global operations for publicly traded companies such as Opnext, Inc and Allied Telesis and has directly managing factories in China and Singapore. Scott earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

  • Tina Beaudry Director, Human Resources

    As Director of Human Resources, Tina Beaudry is responsible for overall human resources strategy in support of the purpose, values and business initiatives of AOptix. She is also responsible for developing and driving people strategy and fostering an environment where the global AOptix team thrives. Tina brings over twenty years of experience in the technology industry overseeing all aspects of human resources, including workforce development and organization effectiveness, benefits and compensation, staffing, and HR processes and information management. Prior to joining AOptix in 2007, Tina held senior HR positions with Bookham, Inc., Brocade Communications, LSI Logic, and Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies.
