  • Dean Senner Chairman and CEO

    Mr. Senner brings a broad breadth of domestic and international experience in technology, consumer electronics and telecommunications products for both government and commercial markets. Dean was President and CEO of Thales Navigation, Inc. (Magellan GPS Systems), an international company with operations in 13 countries, and over 17,000 retail outlets in more than 100 countries around the world. Dean oversaw the explosive growth of Thales Navigation during his tenure which included the Professional Products division, OEM division, and Consumer Electronics division. In parallel, he served as Chairman of the Board for Navigation Solutions, LLC., a joint venture between Thales Navigation and the Hertz Corporation which owned and operated a large fleet of navigation systems in the Hertz rental car fleet under the Hertz NeverLost™ brand.

    Dean has also served as an executive in the defense and aerospace industry with Lockheed Martin. During his tenure, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems company, developing and operating satellite systems for Direct Broadcast (TV), Fixed and Mobile Satellite (Telephony), and Broadband services worldwide. Dean also served as Vice President of Military Satellite Communications Programs for Lockheed Martin developing satellite systems such as MILSTAR, DSCS, GPS IIR, and others. During this time he worked extensively with the Air Force, Navy, Army, and NASA as well as with various special forces, intelligence agencies, and classified customers.

  • Tina Beaudry Director, Human Resources

    Tina Beaudry is responsible for overall human resources strategy in support of the purpose, values and business initiatives of AOptix. She is also responsible for developing and driving people strategy and fostering an environment where the global AOptix team thrives.

    Tina brings over twenty years of experience in the technology industry overseeing all aspects of human resources, including workforce development and organization effectiveness, benefits and compensation, staffing, and HR processes and information management.

    Prior to joining AOptix in 2007, Tina held senior HR positions with Bookham, Inc., Brocade Communications, LSI Logic, and Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies.

  • Earl Charles Chief Financial Officer

    Earl C. Charles is AOptix’s Chief Financial Officer with leadership responsibilities for corporate finance, financings, mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure to support rapid growth of the company’s iris recognition As CFO of eMeter, Earl led and negotiated financing to fuel the company’s sales growth while improving its systems and infrastructure.  Prior to joining eMeter, he was CFO at XenSource, Inc., a server virtualization software company which was acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc. Earl was responsible for operations, finance, legal, facilities, risk management, human resources and investor relations functions. While at XenSource, Earl led and negotiated financings, negotiated the definitive agreement with Citrix and led due diligence and integration activities, and implemented ERP and business systems. Earl has held similar positions at Cupertino Electric, Inc., a leading provider of sophisticated electrical infrastructure solutions and other high technology companies, including mycfo.com, Prism Solutions and R2 Technology, Inc. Earl was a partner and 20 year veteran at Deloitte & Touche LLP, a public accounting firm and holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.  Earl has joined the AOptix executive management team after many years of financial and operational management.

  • Scott Clark VP Operations

    Scott Clark leads procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and customer support at AOptix. Scott is a seasoned operations management professional with extensive experience overseeing production of complex technologies, international operations, and data communications hardware and software development.

    Prior to joining AOptix, Scott was VP of Operations at Arecont Vision, the market leader in IP-based MegaPixel security cameras. At Arecont Vision Scott and his team drove significant product quality improvements and inventory and cost reductions allowing the company to achieve record breaking growth. He lived and worked in Japan for 10 years, has run global operations for publicly traded companies such as Opnext, Inc and Allied Telesis and has directly managing factories in China and Singapore.

    Scott earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

  • Amanda North VP Marketing and Communications

    Amanda A. North is responsible for all aspects of AOptix PR, media relations, corporate messaging, branding strategy, marketing materials, tradeshows, advertising, website, channel marketing, and direct marketing campaigns. In addition, Amanda works closely with product marketing to ensure coordination of marketing activities across the company. Amanda brings a wealth of experience and expertise to AOptix with a strong background in all disciplines of marketing and communications having spearheaded marketing for many innovative B:B and B:C companies, both private and public. As VP Corporate Communications at Splunk, Amanda helped prepare the company for its successful IPO in 2012. As VP Corporate Marketing and New Ventures, Amanda also prepared Calico Commerce to go public in 1999. She has worked with a range of emerging companies in interim VP Marketing roles. Early in her career Amanda ran the Desktop Publishing Group for Apple Computer. She also was responsible for sales in the Central US through one of Apple’s leading resellers. In addition, Amanda led two highly regarded branding and web design agencies, as President of Studio Archetype (acquired by Sapient) and Managing Director of Sequence. Amanda holds a BA in politics and economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University. She also has conducted graduate studies in economics at Trinity College, Cambridge under a Rotary Club scholarship.

  • Chandrasekhar Pusarla VP and General Manager, Communications

    Dr. Pusarla has over 17 years of product development experience in the networking and telecommunications industries and brings technical and management leadership skills to AOptix. He previously worked at Calient Networks, a photonic switching optical networking start-up, rising to the position of Vice President of Engineering. During his tenure at Calient, he was responsible for delivering multiple photonic switching products to market and several software releases to major carriers and service providers. Earlier in his career, Dr. Pusarla held technical and management positions at Corning Inc. and Tyco International Ltd. Dr. Pusarla received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from University of Maryland at College Park.

  • Chuck Yort VP and General Manager, Identity Solutions

    Chuck Yort has overall responsibility for the growth of AOptix’s Identity Solutions business, which includes the Insight family of products and Smart Mobile Identity. Chuck joined AOptix from Minerva Networks, a profitable TV-over-IP solution developer for pay TV service providers, where he was the Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances. Prior to that, Chuck was the Vice President and General Manager of B2B Solutions at Plantronics, Inc. While at Plantronics, he led the growth of its flagship newly formed business unit, reaching over $500 million in revenue in three years. Chuck also served as Vice President, General Manager, Business & Government at Palm Inc. In addition, Chuck has held management positions at startups such as Venturi Wireless and Polyfuel, as well as tech leaders such as 3COM and HP.

    Chuck earned a BSE in Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford.
